Continuing Education Hours (IAODAPCA, QIDP, RID)

Anixter Center Training Institute awards Continuing Education Unit(s) to participants who complete our training programs.

CEU is a uniform unit of measure and a means of maintaining permanent records of an individual’s participation in approved continuing education experiences. It is a means to earn "credit" for courses not accredited as part of a university degree program. Many professional organizations that offer certification or licensing for individuals in a given discipline require a certain number of CEUs in order for members to keep their certification or membership in an active status.

In order to receive verification of successful completion of the following credit hours, participants are expected to attend the entire program and to complete an evaluation at the end of the course.

IAODAPCA: Anixter Center Training Institute is approved by the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association to provide continuing education for professionals in the alcohol and other drug abuse field. One training hour = one IAODAPCA CEU.

QIDP: Anixter Center Training Institute is approved by the Department of Human Services (DHS) to provide continuing education for Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals in the field of developmental disabilities. One training hour = one QIDP credit hour.

RID: Anixter Center Training Institute is an approved sponsor by the Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf to provide training to professional interpreters. 0.1 training hour = 1 RID CEU.
